ODBC Drivers for Planning and Collaboration Services
We're excited to announce that we've released a new set of ODBC drivers which allow you to access data stored this way in any number of formats, from ETL, BI, reporting, and database management and programming language tools exclusively available for Windows.
Drivers are available for ODBC APIs and work with the types of data that can be retrieved when using those APIs.
Drivers for Confluence Cloud

Difference between Confluence and Confluence cloud:
The main difference is that Confluence Cloud is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), while Confluence Server is hosted on a server on the customer side. You may choose to host it on your premises or on AWS.
The ODBC driver for Confluence Cloud can work on 32-bit and 64-bit applications on both x32 and x64 platforms, so the driver, programs, and environment are configured only once regardless of OS used.
Our ODBC driver is a standalone installation file. It doesn't require you to deploy and configure any additional software such as a database client or a vendor library.
Deployment costs are significantly reduced when you deploy licensed software from a trusted source, such as the Microsoft Partner Network or OEM partners.
Drivers for SQLite
The database SQLite is used to develop embedded software for devices such as televisions, cell phones, cameras, etc. It can handle a variety of different traffic levels, from very high to very low. SQLite is an open source cross-platform library that allows applications to store data in databases and provide easy access data. It is a simple, lightweight, and easy-to-use database that’s optimized for mobile devices.
Difference between SQL and SQLite:
- SQL is a conversational programming language utilized with database resources, such as MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, etc.
SQLite is a portable database resource. It could be extended through coding that accesses this database in any language.
An ODBC SQLite Driver that utilizes an OEM license with silent installation is required to be installed separately from a database client or a vendor library. The cost of this installation is greatly reduced with OEM licensing in a larger company where more than 100 computers are usually used to create a separate installation.
The driver provides full support for Microsoft Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), its functions, and data types. It offers advanced connection string parameters and allows any ODBC-compliant desktop or web application to connect to SQLite from various environments and platforms.
The driver can perform amendments to the SQLite database by utilizing a series of SQL statements into a batch, simplifying and speeding up the procedure for modifying large amounts of data to the SQLite database.
